Inspiration
I find that my most meaningful reflections happen by the ocean. Here’s what I’ve come to appreciate:
The ocean is a stunning blend of beauty and constant change, much like life itself. One moment, it’s calm and serene; the next, it’s churning fiercely against the shore. It’s in these storms that hidden treasures, like beautiful sea glass, emerge.
Having spent much of my life in regions affected by hurricanes and typhoons, I’ve witnessed the chaos that storms can bring. Yet, I’ve also seen the incredible resilience of people, especially when they come together in partnership.
Through the rebuilding process, we often uncover strengths and beauty we didn’t know we possessed. Life is similar; when we confront challenges, seek solutions to problems we might face, or encounter situations that require us to change course, having a partner by our side makes us stronger.
Together, we can navigate the storms and discover the hidden gems along the way.

Bouwer Consulting was formally founded in 2022 by Sarah Bouwer.
Originally from the US, growing up abroad shaped my perspective and instilled in me a profound appreciation for diverse cultures. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, enabling me to connect authentically with people from all walks of life.
My passion for education and community development inspires me to work hand-in-hand with those around me, helping to develop their unique strengths and collaboratively enhance their skills. I truly believe in the power of partnership.
I love anything related to strategic planning, program development, travel, and the beach.
